Since the impact of COVID-19 in the US, the restaurant and food service industry has come to almost a complete standstill. Fast casual brands and locations with a drive-through already set up have pivoted in this environment more easily than dine-in restaurants. Still, many of the dine-in operations are finding success with food deliveries or setting up parking lots for customers to drive-up to pick up food. With widespread testing still not implemented and a vaccine months away, restaurants and other food service brands need to find a new normal for their operations.
